ISRO's Venus Mission

This mission may have been mentioned after the successful landing of Chandrayaan, but the work on it has started from the year 2017 itself. While its concept was made in the year 2012 itself.

As soon as Chandrayaan-3 made a successful landing on the moon's land, Indian Space Agency ISRO's sting rang all over the world. Countries like America, Russia and China have already landed on the moon, but India landed there where no country in the world could reach. That place is the South Pole of the Moon. Scientists believe that if water can be found anywhere on the moon, then this is the place. However, today we are not talking about Chandrayaan or Moon, but about Venus, the rocky planet closest to Earth. It is said that the position of the planet Venus is such that life can be possible here.

What is the mission related to Venus?

During the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3, PM Modi mentioned another mission of ISRO in his speech. It was of Shukrayan. Actually, ISRO scientists want to do research on Venus, for this they have prepared a Venus orbiter mission. However, ISRO is not only eyeing Venus, but NASA also wants to do research on it.

When will this mission start

This mission may have been mentioned after the successful landing of Chandrayaan, but the work on it has started from the year 2017 itself. While its concept was made in the year 2012 itself. ISRO scientists have been working on the Venus Orbiter Mission for a long time. Actually, through this mission, scientists are doing research on the chemistry of Venus's atmosphere, its dynamics and structural variations as well as the effects of solar radiation and solar winds. Experts say that ISRO can launch this mission between 2026 and 2028. This is because the right launch window for Venus comes once in 19 months.
