How to identify fake turmeric

To identify fake turmeric, you have to do this first. Take normal water in a glass. Add one spoon turmeric powder in it. After that mix it well. After mixing, you have to see that if the turmeric is fake then it will get collected at the bottom of the glass. For your information, let us tell you that after mixing fake or adulterated turmeric in water, its color becomes darker or brighter. As soon as turmeric powder is added to water, the color of the water starts turning light yellow. Fake turmeric is very harmful for health.

Just place a pinch of turmeric powder on your palm and massage with the thumb of the other hand for 10-20 seconds. If turmeric is pure then it will leave a yellow stain on your hands.

You can detect fake and real turmeric at home in just a few minutes. Take a glass jug filled with hot water, then add 1 teaspoon turmeric in it and let it settle. If turmeric powder settles at the bottom of the jug. Then turmeric is real, but if it turns dark yellow when mixed with water, then throw it away.
